Meet Jordan, Ryan and Maximillian!

It is our pleasure to introduce the three newest members of the Newmarket Motor Company team and the faces of the future.

Pictured on the right is Maximillian Cohen, aged 20, who has joined us as a trainee in the workshop.

Ryan Archer, pictured centre is 19 and is learning the ropes alongside the team in the showroom.

And, last but not least, is Jordan Bowman (left), aged just 17. Jordan is a student and joins us on part-time basis.

What might come as a surprise is that we didn’t advertise any of these positions - each one of these boys approached us for a job. In fact, they demonstrated such dogged persistence it became clear they weren’t leaving without a job offer!

Here at Newmarket Motor Company, we have a strongly held belief about the importance of supporting the community around us: our sponsorship of local football for example, bears testament to this. It should be of no surprise then, that we also look to employ local people.

Over the coming weeks we’ll be having a chat with each of the boys and getting to know them a little better and of course, we’ll be sharing our findings right here!

The opening rounds of the Michelin Ginetta GT4 Supercup got off to a slightly subdued but nonetheless promising start for Newmarket Motor Company sponsored Michael Caine, who bounced back from a disappointing qualifying position.

Speaking to us this morning, Michael said it had been a testing weekend, “It’s a new car that’s not done many miles, so yes, there’s definitely some work to do.

“We were quick in the wet, but a little bit off the pace in the dry”

Despite finding himself running 0.5 second behind the pack, Michael is optimistic about the season ahead, “We’ll be doing a lot of testing over the next few week and getting some miles on the car.

“It was an OK start but we’re working to improve on that.”

Welcome to our brand new website! Launched at the start of the new year, it promises to help our customers find their perfect car by providing clear yet detailed information.

You’ll find many new and innovative features across the website and over the coming days and weeks we’ll be exploring some of these features more thoroughly.

The launch of the site is just part of our on-going programme of development and renovation. Those of you who follow us on our social media channels may already have seen the pictures we’ve shared of the makeover and certainly visitors to the showroom will have seen first hand the changes taking place.

There’s much more to come and we’re sure that 2015 will be an exciting one for us and our customers.
